Hello from The Community Study!
We're a team of researchers at Johns Hopkins University. Our team travels the country to learn about communities directly from the people who live there. We've talked to folks in cities including Seattle, Cleveland, Mobile, Memphis, St. Louis, and Baltimore, as well as with folks in suburban and rural areas in Illinois and Arkansas. Now we're visiting fast-growing places in the US, including Dallas, Little Rock, Indianapolis, and Louisville.
Prof. Stefanie DeLuca, a professor of sociology at Johns Hopkins University, is our Project Director. She is an award-winning, nationally recognized expert on families and communities, with nearly thirty years of research and public service experience.
